Room 17: Buddies and visits with Constable Lorena

Room 17 now have a buddy class, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon getting to know our buddies from Room 8. We have been fortunate enough to have Constable Lorena working with us over the past 2 weeks. There have been some great discussions and activities about how we can keep ourselves safe.

Room 16: Keeping Ourselves Safe

This term we have been doing the 'Keeping Ourselves Safe' programme with Constable Lorena coming in to talk to us about our bodies and how we can keep them safe. We talked about 'emotions' and how different scenarios make us feel. Can you guess what emotions these children are showing?

Room 15: Explanations

In Room 15 we have been learning to write explanations. 

We found this quite tricky at the start. This week we thought back to the learning we did about plants and we wrote an explanation about how they grow. 

Here are some pieces of writing. 

Room 18: 100 Days of School!

We celebrated 100 days of school by dressing up, building things with 100 blocks, counting 100 objects, making 100's and 1,000's biscuits and making a cake. We also made party hats and had balloons. It was a great party day for the end of the term!

Room 17: Soccer 4 Life

On Thursday 22nd June we had our first soccer session with Blake from Soccer 4 Life. 

We had a really fun time learning new skills like joggling, and having some exciting games and competitions. It was also great to learn about fair play and displaying good sportsmanship towards others. 

We can't wait for our next session!
